A Hillsborough High student was hit by a car today at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Central Avenue, according to the Tampa Police Department.
The unidentified victim, whose age is unknown, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Roads are closed at MLK from I-275 to Florida Avenue in both directions, police said.
