Crime Blotter: Car Hit at Rowlett Park
A relatively quiet week around Central Tampa, except for a couple car break-ins.
Jan. 16
- An unlocked car was illegally entered at Rowlett Park, 2501 Riverhills Dr. A wallet valued at $200 was stolen, along with the victim's ID and debit card. The debit card might have been used at a BP gas station on Busch Boulevard, according police.
Jan. 17
- The driver's side window of a car parked on the 6900 block of North 21st Street was smashed open. A Magellan GPS system was stolen from inside, but police said money left in plain sight on the center console was not taken.
