Red Moped and $3,000 Worth of Appliances Reported Stolen

Monday, May 14

  • A burglary was reported in the 8000 block of N. 11th St. The culprits entered the residence through an open window and took $3,000 worth of appliances, including a refrigerator, freezer, washer and dryer. The house is vacant and under renovation. A neighbor witnessed an Hispanic male and an Hispanic female taking the property. The culprits drove a blue Ford F10, 2005 King Cab model. Possible tag AVA-XXX, maybe a 6 and a 4 in the last three digits.
  • A 2011 red Moped with a missing trunk lid was reported stolen from 4119 Poplar Ave.

Wednesday, May 16

  • Between May 16 and May 17, someone broke into a vehicle parked at 4307 N. 10th St. and took an in-dash stereo.
