Children With Cancer Make Impression On Hyundai

The Hyundai Hope On Wheels charity gave St. Joseph's Hospital a $75,000 check for a pediatric oncology pilot program.

A sparkling-new white Hyundai Santa Fe Sport provided the perfect art canvas for pediatric cancer patients Wednesday, June 26.

As a crowd watched, the young patients at St. Joseph's Hospital dipped their hands in colorful paint and placed their hand prints on the panels of the Sport, turning it into a "moving" testament to the bravery of these youngsters battling cancer.

The painting session was part of ceremony during which Hyundai Hope On Wheels and Tampa-area Hyundai dealers presented St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Pediatric Oncologist Erin Cockrell, M.D., with a check for $75,000.
