When a person commits suicide, family and friends can be left with an immense loss. They can be unsure of how to grieve, remember, cope and heal.
LifePath Hospice will offer a seven-week suicide loss grief support group, specifically geared to the needs of those who have experienced the suicide of a loved one. The group, facilitated by a professional bereavement counselor, will start meeting on Monday, January 7, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 121 Carver Ave. in Brandon.
The group is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register or for more information, call Diane Schnelly at 813.877.2200.
