Watercolor Painting Class Held in Forest Hills

The Life Enrichment Center is registering now for a new watercolor class for adults. 

This class is for beginners or those who have experience. Learn to use simple brush strokes & watercolor techniques to paint anything from beautiful flowers to birds or landscapes to tree branches.

In class, you will choose from one of the subjects you enjoy and you will be shown the steps to completing a finished watercolor. Here is your chance to learn the tips and techniques to create works of art that will make you smile.

The six-week course will start on Monday, January 7 through February 25 from 10 a.m. until noon.  The course fee is $75 for members of the Life Enrichment Center or $90 for non-members. Annual membership to the Life Enrichment Center starts at $30.  

The course will be taught by Susan McKay.  Ms. McKay studied art at Columbus College of Art and Design and spent 25 years as a commercial designer, writer and illustrator. She has been teaching art classes for more than 30 years. 

Classes are open to adults of all ages.  Classes will be held at the Life Enrichment Center, 9704 North Boulevard, Tampa. Class size is limited, advance registration is required.
