Residents met with officials from the City of Tampa earlier this week to discuss the dog park's preliminary plans.

Seminole Heights residents met with City of Tampa officials earlier this week to talk plans for a neighborhood amenity they say is missing from the landscape: a dog park.

In order to get the ball rolling, city officials estimated about $39,821 would be needed to provide items such as fencing, signage and fountains at the dog park, which residents in support of the idea say should be located at Henry and Ola Park, 300 W. Henry Avenue.
