Thunderbug, Tampa Bay Lightning Coaches Attending Food Drive

The drive will be at the Metropolitan Ministries Holiday Tent.

This just in:

Tampa Bay Lightning assistant coaches Dan Lacroix, Marty Raymond, video coach Nigel Kirwan, as well as broadcasters Rick Peckham, Bobby "the Chief" Taylor, Dave Mishkin, Brittany Zion and team mascot ThunderBug will accept donations and perform other duties during Metropolitan Ministries' holiday food drive on Tuesday.

The food drive will be from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the Metropolitan Ministries Holiday Tent, 400 W. Palm Avenue.

Metropolitan Ministries expects to serve 25,900 homeless and struggling families this winter, including 26,190 children.  

This year, the Holiday Tent has moved to 400 West Palm Ave., in Tampa.  The Metropolitan Ministries Holiday Tent is currently accepting donations and brining hope to thousands of families with more than 10,000 volunteers.  For more information, visit http://www.metromin.org/holiday-central.
