Public Workshop Scheduled for May 15 on Henry and Ola Dog Park

Seminole Heights residents looking for a place to walk their furry friends are one step closer to a local dog park becoming a reality.
The City of Tampa's Parks & Recreation department is hosting a public workshop at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15 at the Seminole Garden Center, 5800 N. Central Avenue, to discuss a proposal for a park at Henry and Ola Park, according to officials in the department.
Members of the Seminole Heights community have been outspoken about efforts to bring a dog park to the neighborhood, and created a Facebook page to post photos of the park and updates.
