'Paint the Town' Redevelopment Project Seeks Volunteers
The event will be on Saturday, Jan. 19.
On Saturday, Jan. 19, the University Area Community Development Corporation is sponsoring a project that allows volunteers to help transform a neighborhood.
The inaugural project entails painting homes, mowing, cutting branches, gardening and cleaning vacant lots near locations such as the Police Athletic League fields and Mort Elementary.
Volunteers should meet at 14013 N. 22nd Street at 8 a.m. The projects will run until 2 p.m.
