Hillsborough County Libraries Offer Free Homework Help Online

The Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative offers free online homework help resources for children, teens and adult learners through Tutor.com

Tutor.com provides students and job seekers with vital services to help them improve in academic and career areas. Hillsborough County library cardholders have free 24/7 access to the website’s test prep, study and job resources to suit their needs. In addition, live one-on-one homework help can be obtained through the library’s website from 2 p.m. to midnight, seven days a week, with no appointment necessary.

The website is divided into five sections:

Student Center, College Center, Adult Education Center, Career Center, and ProofPoint™ Writing Center. Children, teens and adult students have Math, English, Science and Social Studies help available to them. For adults and teens who are in need of career and job resources, Tutor.com offers resume reviews and certified career tips, among other services.

These resources can be accessed at home, at the library, or from any remote location with an Internet connection through a Mac, PC, iPad/iPhone/ iPod Touch, or from any mobile device by using the Tutor.com To Go™ mobile app. Since all work is done online, there is no need to drive anywhere. Also, every session is archived and can be reviewed or replayed at a later time.
