Heavy Rain Doesn't Deter Seminole Heights Drivers

Traffic moved slowly along Florida Avenue on Thursday morning.

Along Florida Avenue in Seminole Heights, drivers avoided the large puddles of water forming from all of the rain. Most of them are in the right lane of the busy commuting corridor as Tropical Storm Andrea makes its way across the area.

Around 9:30 a.m., hours before the storm was scheduled to make landfall, steady rain blanketed Seminole Heights with cloudy skies overhead. Even so, traffic moved at a steady clip at the intersection of Hillsborough and Florida avenues.

Check out a few photos of the gloomy weather.
