Free Reception Held Friday for TECO Public Art Gallery

The art show began on Nov. 2.

TECO Public Art Gallery in downtown Tampa proudly presents The Life Enrichment Center Art Exhibition & Sale from November 2 through January 4, 2013.

This year’s art exhibition will include 30 artworks of various media by members of the Life Enrichment Center.  A reception for the show will be held on Friday, November 9 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public and will be held at TECO Public Art Gallery, 702 N. Franklin St.

There will be live music presented by Joe Braccio who will be playing steel drums, food & beverages and a cash bar.

A wide array of subject matter is treated by the artists in this exhibition and includes abstraction, landscapes, still life and portraits. A selection of Miniature artworks will also be on display. The adult artists who attend classes at the Center range in age from 40 to 90. The Life Enrichment Center serves as a creative outlet to many people in our community-offering them a chance to learn and practice a new art form, write their memoirs or remain physically active by taking a dance or tai-chi class.

More than 40 academic, creative and wellness classes are offered at the non-profit center.
