Corbett Prep Students Donate to Metropolitan Ministries

The donation was for the holiday tent.

With Thanksgiving around the corner, the holiday tent at Metropolitan Ministries recently opened.

To help those in need, Corbett Prep Student Council led a school-wide effort to collect and pack 961 cans for Metropolitan Ministries “Compassion + Action” network to provide support for the homeless at the tent.

Student Council Advisors Jenn Jagdmann and Stephen Shoe coordinated the drive, and Corbett Prep moms volunteered to deliver the boxes of canned goods.
