Cigar Bash Benefit to Aid Metropolitan Ministries

The event is in its third year.

The third annual cigar bash was held on Saturday to benefit Metropolitan Ministries in Seminole Heights.

The fundraiser  at Pepin Hospitality Center included live music and samples from 37 cigar manufacturers, said Mike Howe, owner of Tampa Humidor 1418 E. Busch Boulevard, Suite 105. The event attracted people from seven states, Howe said.

Howe said the drink proceeds - about $2,000 - will go to Metropolitan Ministries at 2002 N. Florida Avenue.
