The incident occurred over the weekend according to the Tampa Police Department.

A handful of vehicles were broken into over the weekend in the Seminole Heights area, including one parked at a church, according to a report from the Tampa Police Department.

On Saturday at 1005 N. Blann Avenue, a wallet with cash and credit cards was taken from a vehicle at that address, according to police. "Several" credit card transactions have taken place since the theft, police said.

In a separate incident on Saturday at St. Chad's Episcopal Church, 5609 N. Albany Avenue, someone smashed the front right passenger door glass window of a vehicle, police said. Then, the suspect took a carry-on bag with an iPad that was lying in plain view on the floorboard of the front right passenger seat, police said, before fleeing the scene.
