- Today is the final day of the holiday weekend that the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) is offering $5 admission to all active and retired military personnel, police officers, firefighters, and EMTs with valid ID. Up to six family members and guests can receive $5 off the regular admission price.
- The Florida Aquarium will honor any active-duty, retired, or drilling military personnel, including reservists and members of the National Guard, with two free general-admission tickets. Up to four additional family members can receive 50 percent off the regular admission price.
- For Memorial Day, the Lowry Park Zoo will grant free admission to active-duty, drilling, or retired military, including the National Guard and reservists. This offer is also valid for up to three direct dependents.
- Bring the family to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park at 2 p.m. for a free concert to honor military service members and their families. There also will be information booths for agencies providing special assistance to veterans, as well as bounce houses for children and free sno-cones, popcorn, and bottled water.
