- We're going to bring you two wonderful stories later this morning involving the Tampa Police Department:
- The first story will tell you about a young robbery victim and the efforts police took to solve the case and restore the boy's stolen belongings and his dignity.
- The second is a recap of last night's "Thin Blue Line" memorial ceremony outside police headquarters downtown. The additions to the memorial include a blue laser visible at night and additional granite for engraving.
- Tampa Bay local rockabilly band, Midnight Bowlers League,

- The Gasparilla International Film Festival opened yesterday at the Tampa Theatre with a reception and showing. The event continues through Sunday with films playing at Muvico Centro Ybor and Cinébistro Hyde Park and after parties at various venues. Check the festival program for details.
