  3. The Tampa City Council meets today. The group will review a petition signed by supporters of local community gardens who want the city to lower the application fee for proposed new gardens from $2,000 to $200.
  4. Philanthropic Young Tampa Bay is holding its next cultural event at 7 p.m. tonight at , 5016 N. Florida Ave. Enjoy drink specials and free snacks as you hang out with some of the bay area's most forward-thinking folks and enjoy some very cool video art.
  5. For some toe-tapping entertainment, stop by the New Way Café, 6114 N. Central Ave., tonight for the Seminole Heights Bluegrass Jam from 7 to 9 p.m.
