"What Do You Recommend?" is an occasional feature that asks Patch readers to weigh in on their favorite menu items at local restaurants and bars.

has created a home in Southeast Seminole Heights over the last five years, serving up delicious breakfast and lunch in a family friendly atmosphere.

On the menu you'll find items like fried catfish, fried chicken, neck bones, oxtail, smothered pork chops, meatloaf, collard, mustard and turnip greens, black eyed peas, banana pudding, peach cobbler, plus a full breakfast menu that includes biscuits and gravy, pancakes, french toast, grits, breakfast sandwiches, omelets and egg combos.

Owner has had to learn a thing or two about soul food since buying Martha's Place, but he has kept the food the same over the years.
