Vacant Nebraska Ave. Building Bought by Local Fast Food Chain

A group that includes an owner of a Salem's Gyros & Subs recently bought the commercial building in Old Seminole Heights.

The commercial building at was recently bought by one of the owners of Tampa-based fast food chain Salem's Gyros & Subs, according to the property's former listing agent, Linda Calebro-Kuder, broker/owner of Calebro and Associates

County and state records show that LG Tampa LLC — a group that includes a Salem's owner, Samir Layeb — purchased the property earlier this month. 

Construction started on the Old Seminole Heights building at the corner of Nebraska and East North Street in 2007 and stopped by 2009. It has yet to be occupied.
