Are you in the market for a job?
If so, Amazon.com might want to hear from you.
The company has begun posting advertisements for positions at its soon-to-open distribution center in Ruskin. The new site is anticipated to employ more than 1,000 people once it’s fully operational, the Tampa Tribune reports.
The company offers its workers health insurance, a 401(k), bonuses and stock awards. While a variety of posts will eventually open, many of those now being advertised are related to fulfillment. These are essentially warehouse workers that assist in filling customer orders. The starting pay, according to Amazon’s employment website is $11 an hour.
