Learn the Basics of Watercolors at Life Enrichment Center

Enjoy this easy approach to working with watercolor and create a painting during a class at the Life Enrichment Center. This class is for anyone who has little or no experience with watercolors.   

You may choose to bring a photograph or image of your choice to work from. You may also decide to make a simple Mandala creation which you will be shown.  It is an easy image to create and paint without any drawing skills or art experience.

In either case, you will be introduced to the basic techniques of watercolor painting and the fundamentals to paint on your own. The course will be taught by Carly Johnston, a longtime artist and member of Las Damas de Arte.

The 6-week class runs April 11 through May 16, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Life Enrichment Center, 9704 N. Boulevard in Tampa.  Cost for the class is $75 for members of the Life Enrichment Center or $90 for non-members. Annual membership starts at $30.
