On how the Happy Hour come about, and when it began: "Going Green Tampa has hosted Happy Hour events for the passed year at local restaurants. We partnered with The Roosevelt 2.0 this April to have them there the fourth Friday of the month. Having them at this amazing space adds to the energy of the night and gives people a look at how they can make their environment more sustainable."

On the purpose for those who don't know: "The purpose is to bring together like minded individuals and businesses in an effort to share ideas and news of what is going on in the Tampa Bay area as it pertains to environment, healthy living, sustainability and other “green” topics. We have organic food as well as a cooking demo, guest speakers and welcome networking."

On what she hopes people who stop by gain from the experience: "We want people to come together as a community for the greater good. People may come for the 'happy hour,' but they leave having learned about our community and how they can help. It’s a great time."
