Tampa Theatre hosts the opening night reception for the 5th Annual Gasparilla International Film Festival. Guests will be treated to helpings of hors d'oeurves, beer and wine from local restaurants during the VIP reception at 6 p.m. A screening of "The Music Never Stopped" starring Julia Ormond and J.K. Simmons will begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony.
