Applications Wanted for the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts

The 42nd annual Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts is accepting applications from artists to exhibit at the festival, which returns to Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on March 3 and 4, 2012. Cash prizes totaling $74,500 are available.

Artists interested in applying should submit four images and an application through www.zapplication.org by Sept. 25. Entry categories include ceramic, mixed media, digital, drawing, painting, fiber, photography, sculpture, glass, watercolor, jewelry and wood.

A non-refundable administrative fee of $40 must accompany the application. If an artist is accepted into the festival, a $350 exhibition fee applies for standard booths, and $475 is required for a corner location.
