The Southeast Seminole Heights Civic Association presents the second-annual "Taste of the Heights." Enjoy a stroll from house to house, shady bistro seating, and diverse cuisine from local eateries and home cooks.
The tour features eight stops. Each will feature a light-portion, three-course meal including an appetizer or salad, entree and sweet treat for dessert. Beer and wine also will be included.
Restaurants returning from 2010's event include Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe, the Front Porch Grill, Reservations Gourmet to Go, The Taco Bus and the Three Coins Diner.
In addition, guests can enjoy live music from singer/songwriter Rob Irie and the Seminole Heights-based band Genghis Flan.
Free parking will be available where the tour begins, at the corner of North Nebraska Avenue and East Chelsea Street. Tour maps will be provided at the hospitality tent.
Ticket sales are limited; if available on the day of the event, they can be purchased at the welcome tent.
Proceeds from this event support the activities of the Southeast Seminole Heights Civic Association.
