Eat at Joe's Concert Features Hot Sax, Cool Lightning Pep Rally

Game on! It's hockey season, and Hillsborough County welcomes your Tampa Bay Lightning to the October edition of the Eat at Joe's lunchtime concert series on Friday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Joe Chillura Courthouse Square in downtown Tampa.

Downtown workers, residents, visitors and hockey fans are all invited to come out and "be the thunder" by spending their midday break at a Lightning pep rally and concert in the park.  Attendees can bring lunch, buy from a local food truck, or a variety of area restaurants.

Lucky fans attending Eat at Joe's can even win free tickets to a future game and root the Bolts to victory on home ice inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Earlier this year, Hillsborough County Commissioner Al Higginbotham created the Eat at Joe’s lunchtime concert series to increase patronage in and aroundthe scenic spot downtown known as Joe Chillura Courthouse Square.  Events are now held monthly, and information is readily available online atwww.HillsboroughCounty.org/EatatJoes.

 Eat at Joe’s is a partnership among the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department; the Arts Council of Hillsborough County; the City of Tampa; and the Tampa Downtown Partnership.
