Battle of the Bands Accepting Entrants
The competition is on Oct. 18, with a $50 entry fee per band.
Know a Seminole Heights band that rocks?
If so, Battle of the Bands is accepting registration. The competition, in its 16th year, will be held on Oct. 18 at the Hillsborough County Fair, 4810 E. State Road 60 in Dover. The entry fee is $50 per band, and the winner receives free studio time.
Band members must be between the ages of 13 and 20, with only one band member being 20. Bands are judged on guitars, drums, vocals, originality and showmanship.
The 2012 winner was Obskurity.
Only 15 bands will be accepted, and must pre-quality by providing a link to an online video of the band.
