Annual Storytelling Festival Set for Saturday

Tampa-Hillsborough County 32nd Annual Storytelling Festival will take place at Hillsborough High School on Saturday, April 21.

Come on down to the Tampa-Hillsborough County 32nd Annual Storytelling Festival at , 5000 Central Ave., on Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

This free festival provides fun for the whole family with various storytelling tents, an open mic, roving storybook characters, a book fair, arts and crafts, and food trucks. There will even be classroom sessions where kids get the chance to tell stories.

Featured guest storyteller Elizabeth Ellis will share her talents at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Ellis was selected as the "Listener’s Choice" at the 30th Anniversary National Storytelling Festival, and is a storyteller-in-residence at the International Storytelling Center. She is a recipient of the "Circle of Excellence Award" from the National Storytelling Network.
