Trinity Cafe for Homeless Celebrates New Location

A dedication and community tour is planned May 14.

Trinity Cafe, a free restaurant for the homeless, hungry and working poor, is now open at its new location at 2801 N. Nebraska Ave., Tampa.

The cafe serves a hot, three-course chef-prepared meal weekdays at 11:30 a.m.

“While grateful for the use of other organizations' buildings, we are abundantly thankful to fulfill our vision of owning our own kitchen and dining facility,” said Jeff Darrey, a founding director of Trinity Cafe. “This larger space gives us the opportunity to increase our capacity to serve more people and develop collaborative partnerships with other organizations to provide food for those in need.”
