Relay for Life of Seminole Heights Wrap-Up Party Set for Monday Night

The American Cancer Society’s will host a wrap-up party at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 7, at the .

Fundraising totals will be announced as well as awards for the top individual and team fundraiser.

The event is open to everybody at the church at 4207 N. Boulevard.

Relay for Life of Seminole Heights took place April 13-14, at .

Thirty-two groups with a total of 403 participants took part in the 18-hour long event at the school at 5000 Central Ave.

Relay for Life of Seminole Heights event chair Chad Daughtrey said that this year’s goal was to raise $52,000.

"We ended up the event raising approximately $44,000 dollars before expenses. We'll have the official number at our wrap-up party," said Daughtrey after the walk was over.
