Reader's Spotlight: Common Ground Church Hosts Book Drive
The church is collecting new and gently used children's books Saturday, Feb. 16.
Common Ground Christian Church is encouraging children to form a lifelong reading habit by offering them free books.
The church's Women Serving Women group will host a book drive Feb. 16-21 at the church, 4207 N. Boulevard, Tampa. Residents are invited to drop off new and gently used books in a collection box on the church's front porch, according to an event listing posted by the group.
The books will be distributed to children throughout the community.
