Mom Blogger Offers Tips, Tricks, Tools for Fellow Parents

Raising three boys, all under age 6, South Tampa resident Ellie Hirsch quickly developed some essential tricks to potty training, keeping her home from turning into a giant toy box and preventing meals from becoming a free-for-all.

She now shares her experiences, as well as parenting tips, tricks and tools, in her blog, Mommy Masters®, which she is now sharing in the Local Voices section of Seminole Heights Patch.

Hirsch started her blog in 2010 "to help parents create flourishing family environments," and Mommy Masters has developed a loyal international following among moms seeking the bring order out of chaos.

In addition to providing tips and tricks, Hirsch and her Mommy Masters followers are able to offer harried parents emotional support and reassurance.

Hirsch also recently released an educational children's CD, "Music is Magical," to rave reviews. Hirsch's songs touch upon important topics families experience, such as potty training, the first day of school, manners, cleaning up and more.

"'Music is Magical' is a wonderful parenting tool that helps teach through music, while having fun and bonding," said Hirsch.

The 18-track CD appeals to both children and parents with its witty lyrics, current beats and fun rhythms.

As if she isn't busy enough, Hirsch also is a contributing freelance writer for Tampa Bay Magazine and has recently partnered with The Florida Parenting Guide, where parents can “Ask The Mommy Master®," whenever they need Hirsch's expert parenting advice.

She was chosen by Mommy Perks as a Woman to Watch in 2012 and called “The Power Mompreneur” by The Vibe Agency.

Born and raised in New York, Hirsch gradually migrated south, graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in family studies. She now resides in South Tampa with her three boys, husband and goldendoodle.
