Lost Dog in Seminole Heights

A Seminole Heights couple returned from a recent vacation to find their dog "Olive" was missing.

Bill Ownley and Kristine Bush came home from a recent vacation to find that "Olive", a 35 pound Italian greyhound and cattledog mix, had jumped their seven foot privacy fence.

The couple adopted the dog two and a half years ago from the pound and has seen her grow into an important part of their home. According to the couple's neighbors, after the dog got over the fence, she was scared by someone walking another dog just outside their home on Powhatan and 13th Street. Olive was last seen under the overpass at Hillsborough and I-275.

The dog is a female with a black and white "cookies and cream" coat. She is considered very quick and agile and is shy in nature. If you spot her, she is not wearing a collar but is microchipped. She has been missing for about a week.
