Free STD and HIV Testing on April 29

The testing is in honor of National STD Awareness Month.

This just in from officials at the Hillsborough County Health Department:

The Florida Department of Health, Hillsborough County Recognizes National STD
Awareness Month by Offering free STD, and HIV testing April 29.

The free and confidential HIV and STD testing at our downtown location will be held from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, April 29 at 1105 E. Kennedy Boulevard, in honor of National STD Awareness Month.

One in two sexually active people will get an STD by the age of 25.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases, (STDs), HIV, and AIDS have not gone away and
continue to affect every part of our community.  Approximately 15 Floridians
become infected with HIV every day.
