Deaf and Almost Blind Dog Lost in Seminole Heights

A Seminole Heights resident needs help in finding her deaf and blind Shih-Tzu.

Hi folks, sorry for the breaking news alert but Seminole Heights resident Elissa Long needs our help.

Molly, her deaf and almost blind Shih-Tzu has been missing since Sunday. Take a look at Molly’s picture and keep an eye out for her. Elissa can be reached at 813.425.2776.

Below is what she posted Wednesday, May 2, on Seminole Heights’ Facebook page.

"PLEASE HELP! LOST DOG. This is Molly, she has been missing since around 4:00 am this morning 4/29/2012. She is a Grey & Cream Shih Tzu. She is Deaf, and pretty much blind, but she has a great sense of smell and will let you know it. She also suffers from Dry Eye and wandered she off in Old Seminole Heights in the 4200 Block of Central Ave between Osbourne and MLK Blvd. She is approx 12+ years old and her little tongue hangs out because she had lots of her teeth removed at HCAS. I have had her for 2 years and she is my "foster failure." She is Spayed, microchipped, but is not wearing her collar. If you have any information please contact me at 813.425.2776. I have posted flyers all over our neighborhood, but to no avail. Please check around and under your homes and bushes. She could be hiding. Thank you so much for your help!"
