CANCELLED: Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market

High winds would make the event too unsafe to operate.

Weather worries have prompted the organizers of the to cancel this season's opening day, which had been set for Oct. 9.

"High winds at 20 mph and 70 percent chance of rain will not allow the market to operate safely tomorrow," organizers said in a media release.

The market typically only cancels under the threat of severe weather; during soft rain showers it remains open.
