Tampa YMCA Accepting Healthy Living Mini-Grant Proposals for Sulphur Springs Community

Tampa, FL (Aug. 13, 2013) – The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA is accepting mini-grant proposals for healthy living programs and activities as part of its Creating a Healthier Sulphur Springs for Kids partnership with the Florida Blue Foundation. All mini-grant proposals must support the strategies, activities and policies outlined in the Call to Action, which can be accessed online at: http://www.tampaymca.org/chssk.

Starting August 15, interested organizations may apply for up to $10,000 in grants and must submit a proposal by 4pm on September 12, 2013.

Attendance at an informational session is strongly suggested in order to submit an application. Technical assistance workshops and appointments for individual support will also be offered throughout August.
