Bicycle Bash Announcement at Velo Champ at 7 PM July 31; Bash Moves To Downtown Tampa Nov 4

SWFBUD, the alliance of Tampa Bay bike shops, will publicly announce that the group is moving the annual Bicycle Bash Festival into Cotanchobee Park in downtown Tampa on NOV 4.

SWFBUD (South West Florida Bicycle United Dealers), the award-winning and
nationally-recognized alliance of retail bicycle stores in Tampa Bay, is proud
to announce that it is moving its annual popular bicycle festival called the
Bicycle Bash into downtown Tampa this year.

The 2012 SWFBUD Bicycle Bash Festival, presented by ISM bike saddles and co-sponsored by the city of Tampa, is scheduled for 10 am to 4 pm on Nov. 4 at beautiful Contanchobee Park on the Channel next to Marriott Waterside and the Tampa Bay Times Forum in downtown Tampa.

The sixth annual Bicycle Bash is all about celebrating bicycling in Tampa
Bay and is put on by SWFBUD's 10 bike shops -- ABC Bicycles, Bicycle Outfitters,
Carrollwood Bicycle Emporium, Chainwheel Drive, Oliver's Cycle Sports, Trek
Store of Tampa and Clearwater, University Bicycle Center, Street Fit 360, Velo
Champ and Trek Store of St. Petersburg. SWFBUD also includes three lawyer
members -- Tom Singletary, J. Steele Olmstead and the Mark Roman Law
Group.

SWFBUD puts on the Bicycle Bash event every year to show the many healthy
lifetsyle, wellness and transportation benefits of bicycling to the Tampa Bay
market. SWFBUD's national bicycle participants at the Bicycle Bash include the
League of American Bicyclists and the Pedal America TV show.

SWFBUD has held its Bicycle Bash in St. Petersburg and Hillsborough County
in previous year and now will stage the event in downtown Tampa to showcase the
bicycle improvements in the city of Tampa while also providing a central venue
for the Tampa Bay market.

SWFBUD's 10 bike shops will be on hand to show you the latest and greatest
in the bicycle world. In addition, SWFBUD's three lawyer members will be there
to answer any bicycle legal questions. Other activities include a children's
bicycle parade on Riverwalk in Contanchobee Park, free bike gear and great food
courtesy of the world-famous Columbia Restaurant.

The Columbia Restaurant a Bicycle Bash's new sponsor, along with presenting
sponsor ISM saddles and the event co-sponsor, the city of Tampa. City employees
will be on hand to discuss new developments in bicycle infrastructure
in Tampa.

Other Bicycle Bash sponsors are Polar Bottle, Pedal America, and American
Traffic Solutions. SWFBUD thanks its Bicycle Bash sponsors for supporting
bicycling in Tampa Bay.

The Bicycle Bash has been awarded Florida's Bicycle Event of the Year by
the Florida Bicycle Association, while SWFBUD was awarded the prestigious
national retail bicycle advocate of the year by the Bicycle Retailer and
Industry News magazine.

A Bicycle Bash announcement ceremony will be held July 31 at 7 PM at the
Velo Champ bicycle store on Central Avenue in Seminole Heights.

In conjunction with the Bicycle Bash, SWFBUD will team up with the League of American Bicyclists to hold a mini bike summit on the day after the Bash -- NOV. 5 from 1-4 pm in downtown Tampa.
