The 31st anniversary of WMNF's Tropical Heatwave this year brings together more than 50 bands on 14 stages throughout Ybor City. There also will be a street festival throughout the afternoon along 9th Avenue with food, arts and crafts vendors, and activists.

Centro Ybor kicks off the music festivities with these performers:

• 2:30pm to 3:15pm: John Allen Singer-songwriter
• 3:30pm to 4:15pm: Erin Solari Sweet melodies with angst
• 4:30pm to 5:15pm: Ian and Evan Acoustic rock
• 5:30pm to 6:15pm: Danny Freeman Acoustic rock singer-songwriter
• 6:30pm to 7:30pm: The Cook Trio Acoustic gypsy jazz

The other venues -- some with simultaneous performance times -- include Centennial Park (1800 E. 8th Ave.); El Pasaje Plaza (13th St. & 9th Ave.); Cuban Club Bandshell on the Patio, Cuban Club Cantina and the Cuban Club Ballroom (all at 2010 North Avenida Republica De Cuba); The Roosevelt 2.0 (1812 N. 15th St.); New World Brewery (1313 E. 8th Ave.); Crowbar (1812 N. 17th St.); The Ritz Ybor and The Ritz Sideroom (1503 E. 7th Ave.); Collage (1701 E. 8th Ave.); Creative Loafing's CL Space (1911 N 13th St.); and The Bricks (1327 E. 7th Ave.).
