The Tampa Bay History Center and the USF-Osher Lifelong Learning Institute for seniors present this fascinating look into Tampa's underbelly, from the "good old days" of vote-rigging, bootlegging, gambling and the mafia to the city's present crime situation.
Speakers include Appellate Judge E.J. Salcines, whose accomplishments include serving as special Assistant U.S. District Attorney for Organized Crime in the Southern and Midwestern states; Bob Kerstein of the University of Tampa, and author Scott Deitche ("Cigar City Mafia").
