On the third Saturday of each month, this ride leaves at 8:30am from the Seminole Heights Garden Center - passing through neighborhoods, along waterfronts and urban areas with various terrain and levels of traffic.
A medium-paced ride (ranging between 10-16 mph), covering about 18 miles. We make our roundabout way to Davis Islands, ride the perimeter and stop at a coffee shop on The Island before heading back through Central Tampa. A very scenic ride that varies from neighborhood leisurely to the opportunity to practice - or learn - urban and group riding skills. The ride leader will pace the ride according to the level of riders present.
As always, helmets are required and participants ride at their own risk.
Please check that your tires are properly inflated, that your brakes are in good working order, and BRING ALONG WATER FOR THE RIDE.

More About Seminole Heights Garden Center
Built in 1939, the Seminole Heights Garden Center was remodeled in 2010. The building offers audio-visual equipment, bathrooms and a kitchen. Lined with large windows on both sides and featuring hardwood floors, the interior is airy and bright during the daytime hours. There is a fully restored fireplace and large foyer. Outside, visitors can enjoy public art, a variety of flowers, and a spacious lawn that is perfect for relaxing on a blanket or chasing butterflies. The Seminole Heights Garden Center can be rented for weddings, banquets, meetings and other special events.
