A kickoff to St. Pete Pride -- called the state's largest pride celebration -- “Pride & Passion” is one of the largest fund-raising events for the Tampa Museum of Art and aims to be the premier event for the museum’s outreach to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The first “Pride & Passion” was held in June 2006. This year’s event opens the museum’s galleries after dark for a night of art, entertainment by DJ Michael Terrance and New Century Dance Company, cocktails, and food by Timpano Italian Chophouse. Tickets are $85 for individuals and $170 for two; tickets include an annual membership to the museum.
