Come one, come all to the last meeting for all our members of the Seminole Heights Friends of the Library to be held in the current branch building. The meeting will be held next Monday at 6:00. There will be food, and perhaps some scary surprises!? Feel free to dress as you wish for this occasion; there will be others dressed up and down! Please bring (written) memories of your experience at the library over the years to add to the memory box. Even if you are unable to make the Monday night meeting, stop by sometime before Oct. 31 and drop a memory in the box, but we really hope to see many of you there for the festivities.

More About Seminole Heights Branch Library
Founded in 1927 as one of seven city libraries, Seminole Heights Branch Library is located on the corner of Osborn and Central Avenues. It is frequented by neighborhood families and many students from Memorial Middle School and Hillsborough High School, which are across the street.
The current facility was dedicated in 1965. A new facility has been budgeted for $7.3 million and construction is expected to begin as early as 2011. The branch's Friends of the Library group holds regular book sales and works with the neighborhood associations as advocates for the library.
