"Agua Luces" Bridge-Lighting with "The Wizard of Oz"
Enjoy a light show and a free movie tonight. First, Mayor Bob Buckhorn lights up five bridges along the Hillsborough River, with the help of TECO and Peoples Gas.
Then enjoy a short animated film, followed by "The Wizard of Oz."
Food trucks and Kahwa coffee will be on site.
The park's fountains will be on for any children wanting to play. Blankets, low lawn chairs, picnics, and leashed dogs are welcome.

More About Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park
The eight-acre Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park features a sleek urban design, two interactive fountains, a dog run, a kiosk with restrooms, and a Pavilion building with restrooms. The park's ultra-modern playground combines video games with aerobic exercise. It also has flexible perimeter seating that can accommodate a variety of programming and performances. Curtis Hixon Park utilizes reclaimed water for irrigation and LED lighting. A segment of the Riverwalk runs through the park connecting the David Straz Performing Arts Center to the Glazer Children's Museum and the Tampa Museum of Art.
