Bicyclists celebrated Velo Champ bike shop's one-year anniversary tonight as dozens of cyclists of all ages on an array of two-wheelers descended on the Central Avenue retail store in Seminole Heights.

The Miller family of Jordan and parents Doug and Sue welcomed bicyclists with Cigar City beer, waffles and a fun race.

Velo Champ is one of 10 SWFBUD bike shops in Tampa Bay. SWFBUD stands for South West Florida Bicycle United Dealers, a nationally-recognized alliance of Tampa Bay bike shops committed to growing bicycling in Tampa Bay.
