What Do You Wish Were Here?

Amidst the booming business along Florida Avenue sits a vacant storefront, what should it be?

Once a successful business of over 20 years, the former Pueblo Nuevo deli, produce, meat market and convenience store now sits empty at 7311 North Florida Avenue, just a few miles north of the booming foodie culture that now pervades Seminole Heights.

The store was posted on the Florida Buyer's Directory for a price of $100,000 a few years ago, but eventually went out of business. It's former owners had a beer and wine license, a full kitchen, space for a grocery and sit down restaurant area as well as 11 glass door refrigerators for merchandise. The space is now available for rent.

So, we want to know what you wish were here? Perhaps a New York style deli or a farmer's market. Tell us in the comments section below.

Hmmmmm.....Something real. If my kitchen looks better then yours I'll stay home and eat. No more spray painted walls, water stained drop ceilings and toddlers playing behind the counter because it's cheaper then daycare. How about a mini version of Brick House, like you see at Dale Mabry and 275?

How about a great sandwhich shop// bakery like Wrights Deli on Dale Mabry,, that would be great. There is not a good sandwhich shop in Seminole Heights.

Wrights or Brick House. Yummmmmm! A good sandwich shop or Italian restaurant. Hasn't been a good sandwich shop in Seminole Heights since Mike closed his place which was located at Florida and Lambright.

Wrights Gormet/Deli! They are Great and have the best sandwiches in town. I would go there more often if they weren't so far from Seminole heights! YES! I also miss the old Whaley's Market that used to be on Florida Ave near MLK.
