Want to Learn Modern Dance?

A class is being offered by the Life Enrichment Center, 9704 N. Boulevard in Forest Hills.

 

Forever Moving, Tampa Bay area’s first and only modern dance company for adults, will hold two workshops on Friday, November 30 and Friday, December 7 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, and are open to adults of all ages, with or without dance experience. 

Participants will enjoy creative exploration and modern dance instruction, with an introduction to choreographic tools and methods.  Professional choreographer Susan Taylor Lennon will lead the classes.

Lennon is Professor of Dance at The University of Tampa, where she also serves as director of the UT Dance Program. She has received numerous awards including the Louise Loy Hunter Award, the highest official honor to be bestowed on a faculty member at UT.

Forever Moving is a contemporary dance project offered by the Life Enrichment Center in partnership with the Arts Council of Hillsborough County.

Classes are held at the Life Enrichment Center, 9704 North Boulevard, Tampa, Florida.  Cost for the workshops is $7/class for members or $10 for non-members. Annual membership starts at $30.
