It's a bird, it's a plane, it's ... the green machine?
The giant Patch RV — 31 feet long and 8 feet wide — is lumbering through the 19 Tampa Bay towns we cover. We are making stops at local events and visiting businesses and organizations. We're promoting Patch and collecting a ton of canned goods for Feeding America Tampa Bay.
Stop by, meet an editor and take part in some of our sweet Patch giveaways! Here's a look at our schedule this week.
Patch RV Schedule
Thursday, May 17
We'll be parked outside Reservations Gourmet To Go, 4703 N Nebraska Ave., during lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday and giving away some free Patch gear. Stop by for lunch, donate a canned good or sign up for our email newsletter and pick up a free Patch T-shirt or tote bag !
You can also help our neighbors in need by dropping off canned goods or nonperishables at any of our other Central Tampa area partners:
- The Canadian Drugstore, 400 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- Cleanse Apothecary, 5127 N. Florida Ave.
- Health Mutt, 6116 N. Central Ave.
- Milk n' Honey Tea Room & Gift Shop, 2092 W. Busch Blvd.
- Sherry's Yesterdaze Vintage Clothing & Antiques, 5207 N. Florida Ave.
Stop in at one of these local businesses today, or make a financial contribution to the drive directly on Feeding America Tampa Bay’s website. Just go to the donation page and look for the Give-A-Ton Food Drive option.
Together we hope to raise one TON of food, so we need your help. And we're looking forward to meeting you!
